On March 16 2017, Leiedal hosted the launch of MijnEnergieKompas.be by Flemish Minister of Energy, Bart Tommelein.
This on-line application for homeowners creates a tailor-made report with an advice on how to renovate their house to NZEB-level. The application creates not only awareness, but also tells homeowners how to start the renovation. The application builds on the insights -gained by the REFURB-project- on how to activate homeowners.
The on-line application is complemented with the pubilshing of a “renovation coach”. Homeowners can involve the renovation coach to help them to organize the renovation process, to make the right decisions, to apply for subsidies, to search for contractors, etc. This business model behind the renovation coach is a result of the REFUB-project.
